After the Halloween performance, the girls and I went for a celebration dinner at BJ Restaurant. Sitting across our table was this well dressed shaved gentleman with a few of his friends. I started taking photos of him because I felt that the background and the entire atmosphere would create a beautiful photo of the restaurant. Coincidentally he was sitting right below the light which illuminates his face with a glow. The lights were very dim in the restaurant and I could hardly see whether the subject was really in focus or not. I took a couple of photos and this one was the best among all the photos that I took with the film camera. Among all the photos that I have developed in the darkroom, this photo was the longest and hardest photo that I have ever developed. It took me almost 2 hours to get the right contrast and the right exposure in order to bring out the best of this photo.
The world is losing the human touch. It seems that a man takes more pleasure in his gadgets than having a meaningful conversation with the person sitting in front of him.
