BACKGROUND
Kenji is the photolab assistant. But I knew him since freshmen year where he was my RA and I became his RA the following year. The reason I developed his photo was because of the aura of a deep thought by Kenji that I felt while taking his photo. On the contact sheet, the photo overall was dark and I could hardly see any details. But I stuck with my instinct and developed only 1 copy of this negative. Another thing I liked about this photo is that how the sun highlights the top of his hair and just slightly on the left side of his face. Take a closer look at where his earphones wire ends. It ends exactly at the beginning of the split. I did not crop this photo, what you see is the entire 35mm film.
The source of the character of a person comes from his thoughts; this is because we are molded by our thoughts.
